If I were to purchase a set of lights that look like this:

How would I paint them black...buying a black pack is out of the question for the set of lights I'm acquiring and I dont want to tint them outsides either.

If a step by Step guide is available that'd be better as I will need to prise them apart and re-glue them back together which i've only just thought about.

Thanks in Advance.

Paint the non reflective bits only. Getting it wrong will cause problems at this time of the year....

Depends what they're for, information relating to how they come apart and what bits you can safely paint will vary between cars.

Oh, and make sure you don't paint anything that's used in the beam pattern, assuming you need telling that.

The headlights are a pain to get apart then when you reseal them you need to make sure it's done properly because they will keep misting up..ballache for what is worth 2bh although you won't be painting the actual reflector bit I don't think the brightness will be as good as original looking at that pic

That's because you are a clueless moron.

BTW no-one cares that you're a clueless moron, but you're a gobby clueless moron with far too much to say, your mouth is writing cheques your brain can't cash.

Did Similar for my Subaru headlights, stuck them in oven for about 20mins at 100degrees to soften up the sealant.

I found this better than a hairdryer/heatgun as it didn't melt the sealant in a localised fashion - less chance of breaking plastic by prising it apart.

It's all about knowing your oven though mate, you gotta know your oven.
