He is working on some updates to the server, some serious issues were highlighted at Christmas, mainly the lack of snowflake background.

Ian is up all night moderating the spam comments and dealing with u2u complaints from Nic Barnes.

I'm considering suggesting another sub-forum within General Chat to make browsing a bit easier.

Not could, will - FB don't appear to want to do the types of things that proper car community software will do now the tech allows it.

I do notice the FB car groups are mainly full of people either wanting something for nothing or totally clueless people giving advice. Middle aged woman asking how they avoid paying people, hoping someone from FB will come and do it for free.

Yes

The was a girl on the Focus mk2 group got ripped off for 700 quid's worth of work that was a complete cluster fuck of bodges, week later was back on asking how to upgrade her exhaust on the cheap.

Not so much car enthusiasts as just everyday people that happen to own that particular car.

I don't really like the corrado groups on FB, just seems to be people asking what pitch a screw thread is and then posting pics of their cars with financed rims.

3CM has hit the nail on the head.. Facebook offers a community for someone who is "passionate" about a particular make or model and arent that fussed about searching for wiring diagrams for engine conversions.

Seems to be a lot of Mohammeds and Akbars putting out wanted ad's but always with the emphasis on price being low. As if they can't buy anything from a real shop so ask online if anyone is selling stuff cheap
