you can pull the centre console away from the dash right? try and have a look behind the console and there are some wires that control the heaters. take them off and the console should come off

daryl! take ur time iv just done mine to. DO NOT FORCE IT IN WITH ANYTHIN or u will chip ur paint.
first of all, line up the holes for the two screws on the lower section where the slidey bit is.
then, locate the two clips into their recess under the vents. this is quite tricky! after u have got these in, press the top down into its clips.
make sure the sides of the vent section go INSIDE the edges of the facsia cover.
now gently manipulate them into place. hope that helps kid

1) take off all the heater controls
2) take of the sliding knob and the cover bahind it. prise it out with a screw driver.
3) undo the screws bhind this.
4) push down on the vents to get access to the screws bhind these and undo them
5)take of the hazard lite switch just pull it.

The black fascia is also held on to the white part with two screws at the back, so you can't simply pull the fascia off.
Darryl, if your about tomorrow afternoon, I'll do it for you if you like.
