Will i be able to upload a website from using it, or will i have to use a ftp client?

You can do either, but yes, you can upload from DWMX

I used to use Dreamweaver MX, was a real nice program, good interface and everything, but now I've got my site all coded in PHP, so now its become redundant! I still use it now and then to tidy up a few things or preview some HTML code before I insert it into some PHP script.

Use Flash then use Dreamweaver. I recommand u use FTP to upload

Notepad, Photoshop, FTPx - Thats all you need to make a decent site

Macromedia MX Studio stuff -- fireworks, dreamweaver, flash etc. And I like doing shockwave stuff in Director MX now also!

notepad if youre good with html

dreamweaver if youve got patience to learn to get the best reults

ms frontpage if you just want to knock up a quick site

macromedia stuff is the best though. a real feast for the eyes to see multimedia designed in dreamweaver/flash/director
