its also the expensive part!

Buying one and doing it myself, im looking at about 2k for decent corsa.

500 for bodykit, 1,000 for fitting and spraying.

Exhaust about 300.

Wheels about 750.

And thats just the beginning.

maybe he ain't been able to get online. if you are only 17, a 1.2 is exactly what you want, no point in throwing money away paying huge insurance premiums. start at the bottom mate, then the only was is up! you will hit the dizzy heights of a 1.6 sport in no time

No maybe wot other 17 yr olds want and need is a 1.2 - I fully intend to start with no less than a 1.4.

He has been online everyday mate, obviously just doesnt want a sale! :s

to be fair, a 1.4 ain't fast. get a 1.2, save a load on the insurance, drive a nice looking motor for a few years, then get something faster when you are older. you will pay 2k + to insure an sri/sport. 1k on a 1.2. save 1k/yr for 3yrs, you got the insurance for a scoob when ya 20

I know him personally mate, hes a good friend, he does want a sale. What did you offer him? The best thing for you to do mate is start wiv a 1.2,there aint much difference between a 1.2 and a 1.4, he keeps up wiv me!! U should have a 1.2 now and then in a few years put a 1.6 turbo or a 2 litre in it.
