Hey Guys i'm new to the board and just wondered what the difference is between the gsi and sri of the corsa b? i'm looking to buy one at the moment but just wondered as i want a nippy corsa. wich one is faster?

gsi is the quickest standard b

GSI - 109bhp
1.6 Sport - 105bhp
1.4 16v Sport - 90 bhp
1.4 sri - 82bhp (mpi)

any thing above and inc. the sri multipoint can be considered a nippy corsa...
ps- dont quote me on the 82 bhp its sumwhere around there may be 86.

Gsi and 1.6 sport are both 1.6 16v

u'll be 17 r ya mate? to be honest u'll fin dit hard to get insured on nething over a 1.2 16v, dunno whether uve looked for insurance quotes or not but u can count the gsi out unless u got notes cumin out ur arse.....

i'm 18 in 2 weeks. i got a quote for a 1.4i 16v and it was 1500

Get a 1.4 16v sport if ya can get insurance as you can do a few mods to up power for small cost and they sound awesome with an induction kit!
