Hi guys,
What is the standard speaker size in the front door and the tweeters on the handles?
I am planning to change them on a small budget, what do you recommend?
Thanks

I think you'll find their 5 inch but you can get 6 1/2 inch comps in as well(with spacers)
all tweeters will be bout 1 1/2 inch
Get a set of Infinities
Infinity 5000CS @ £89.99
13CM (5"), 2 Way Components, 225 Watts Max, 75 Watts RMS, 92dB Sensitivity, Frequency Response 67Hz-21kHz, Includes Crossovers, Soft Dome Tweeters
Infinity 655CS @ £99.99
17CM 2 Way Components, Includes Soft Dome Tweeters + Crossovers, 255 Watts Max, 85 Watts RMS, Frequency Response 60Hz-20kHz, 92db Sensitivity
Really good quality at a fantastic price. shop around you may get them cheaper.

I have just found for £76 and my question is, do the tweeters fit as the standard one? I am saying that because they look that they have a case

its just a case in drilling an 1inch hole in the door handle surround.
There is a grille there for the tweeter isn't there? well just cut the slates, and file/sand down to a smooth hole.
And mount the tweeter.

Ok, so you take the old one and cut teh grille and fit the other, but doesn't it look a bit odd?

don't need to cut anything... just remove the old one and use double sided sticky tape(blue peter style) and stick the new on in it place... works just as well without the hassle...

oh, i thought u wanted to have ur tweeters showing...
if you want it hidden, then just have ur tweeters where the old ones are.

So I only need to take the tweeters covers and stick it somehow and the car will look the same, great!
