I thought for a laugh I would phone up Slow Fit and ask them for a price on a set of 195/50/15 tyres...

"We can do you a deal on some Pirelli P5000 tyres."
- How much?
"Including VAT and fitting, £300 sir."
- *click*

Phoning a few other (non national) places, best price I got was £160 for a set of Continental ContiSport tyres or something like that... the search continues...

Are they? He said they were excellent quality tyres!

I just had a look on http://www.topgear.co.uk they seem to have some very good prices on tyres there.
