thats the fast car article. you'd be surprised what the engine can take, the jap boys run higher bhp. standard pistons are in but are coping but forged ones are planned i think

Fact is, my completely standard 1.4 Micra has beaten 1.4 Corsa's and Tigra's (16 valve) usually by a cars length to 60mph.

Yes, corsas sluggish and bad handling, for what they are.
My mate's mum's 1.0 12v micra (which is not only battered to bits, but is on a k-plate with 100k on the clock) pulls away effortlessly from the 1.0 12v, 1.2 8v and 1.4 8v corsa's from my collage. We all get to drive each other's cars, so it really is not a one off thing.
That post above is very true, and yes, i agree that novas were better for their handling and acceleration characteristics. Shame they were built from 2mm tin.

i sent her the link to this page, and her fella, so when they see it im sure they'll come in, i only know so much about it, sorry, it did spool up at about 2700rpm i think, but its had more work done on it so may be later now, but i dont really want to go into it incase im wrong, im not 100% on what the comp ratio is
