What speed rating is a V spec tyre rated too? Popped into the local dodgy alloy shop, and he seesm to think they are rated up to 160mph on the 16"s? I think this is a big peice of bulls droppings. Can anyone confirm what a V rated 16" (195/45) tyre is rated top speed wise?

V is up to 149mph I believe.

149mph. Phew, thats ok, i'll never get to go that fast in D4

Just didn't fancy a blowout at high speeds cos the tyres weren't good enuff.
