does anyone know how many valves f1 cars have?

They are V10 engines... The norm is 40-50... Maximum of 50 valves...

I think that all F1 engines now use 4 valves per cylinder. 5 per cylinder only really works in long-stroke engines, and an F1 engine is VERY SHORT stroke.
The most valves I've heard of in a petrol engine is 8 in the Honda NR750 (I think). The pistons were very oval, had 2 titanium conrods each and 2 plugs per cylinder. If you google NR750 you should come up with some cool looking pics of the engine in part form.
