Just seen a silver 1.6 16v (the badges on the back said so) but there was no sport or gsi badge anywhere to be seen, and it did have colour coded arches or anything, so i was thinking it might be a spi or something

it was a granny driving it though and had no mods or anything, bog standard it was. I'm gonna stick some metro 900cc badges on my car soon

the badges were like the ones you'd find on a 1.0 12v said corsa on the left of the tailgate, and 1.6 16v on the right

If the badges were silver/chrome and it was N-reg then it was not a 1.6 16v Sport.

GLS? WTF, they never made a 1.6 16v GLS.

They done the 1.6 16v GSi from 1993-1995, and the 1.6 16v Sport from 1997-2000.

Yes the 1.6 16v only came in the Sport and GSi. Listen to Oliver, he is The Oracle.
