YES because when the car was made, the government was not really very happy that a car like this was only a 1.3 and could get lower tax etc.. so they asked mazda to come up with a capacity in relation to a boinger engine, thus t he 2.6 came about. BUT IT ONLY HAS 2X654CC CHAMBERS!!!

Im not saying they are right, as I dont know myself, Im just saying that there are so many of them that say 2.6 that surely there must be...
