We have just bought an Astra GTE from E-bay for £51,
We have about £1800 to spend on it before we race it.
I own a Micra so i don't know much in the way of Vaux tuning so I was wondering what could be done it make it quicker for the cash we have?
Thanks

got a NOS kit on Micra, Gives good power gains but can be hard to control the level of boost thats applied. I have been working on a variable boost adjuster so that the boost didnt all come in at once but its takin forever. Could cause major damage to Driveshafts etc when using it.
Got a big divers bottle for the boot.

2 1/4" zorst. NO induction kit, stifles the power big time. Keep the original airbox and fit a panel filter, and drill the box. Gives the best gains on these lum,ps for about £40.
Cams and chipped to give it some punch at top revs, get plastic windows and bin the glass ones.
Engine tuning wise, go to migweb.

yer do what most people have said:
strip the car completly
R u planing to do engine work ur self?
if so cams, super chip to raise rev limit, personally id go for a scorpion Grp A exhaust system, panel filter + drilled air box
and u still should have money left over if u fit it ur self
