I wouldve run but where my car was it wouldve been a mission to get it out. Plus it was like a fucking oven in my car and i didnt fancy my chances of any half decent times in that heat.
Plenty of RWYB days going on soon though and the pod is 25 mins from my house

CorsaFoz, Adam P was going to but his bleed valve fell off, so didn't.
I reckon when I have a exhaust system put on and if I run my car with the head light off I can break into the 18's with ease.
Even today my car feels so much faster. I noticed everyone else in the queue for the strip had their bonnets up and were pushing their cars. Coz of the nerves I was driving mine - the bitch was overheating so badly. and I think my car was breathing absolutely boiling hot air. Was a great laugh, and I still couldn't believe it when I was up against that GSI and I looked to my side and she wasn't there, she wasn't infront either, I had to look over my shoulder to actually see her (caused me to fuck up a gear change a bit looking round - but oh well)...

I done that too. It was far too hot to leave the engine running, and so it was easier to just turn it off and push it until i got to the entrance where the bloke took the band ticket bits.

daimo, im running on 14s yes. i ran 2 14.7s and 1 14.8. was pretty pleased with that. was struggling to get of the start though. got lots of spin. any chance you can get a picture on for me. thanks mate.

What mods u done to the 2.0litre? I wonder if 15"s make that much of a difference.

last year i ran with the same engine, tryed with 17s, and ran 15 .1 at my best, i then tryed it on 14s and still got in the low 15s, i rebuilt my engine about 2 months ago. ive got a filter, back box and lightened fly wheel. im getting mt twin 45s in 2 weeks.
