i posted here b4 about my MFD going haywire but cant find my old post. anyhow. basically the MFD does what it likes not what it should do, sometimes it wont be on at all, sometimes only one of the bulbs will illuminate. every time i start the car the clock resets itself
i have taken it out for the third time to inspect it and cant see anything wrong :s
anyone have any ideas at all before i give in and buy another one from a scrappies???

i had same problem on mine for ages! it turned out that the pins that the connector connects to on the MFD circuit were Fcuked, they were loose, so i had to take apart the MFD and re-soldier the pins back on, very tricky job as the pins are so close together n u could easily mess it up!!
hope this helps
