iwoke up this mornin and i saw my airbox on my floor and the ilter hanging out (dont ask) and next to it i noticed one of them green pan scrubbs! now me being me i put 2 and 2 together and decided that maybe it would work. also it might not, so i decided to ask the almighty and powerful !!

Basically all im asking i would this work if you used the green pan scrub instead of an airfilter?

Cheers Chris

I'm not sure companies making pan scrubs spend the same money testing airflow and dirt retention as air filter manufacturers.....

Actually more realistically, there is a washable filter in Dysan vacuum cleaners. But it's not gonna be as good as already established car air filters.

i did actually try the following.. got a clean cloth (kitchen towel) and tie rapped it onto the air intake of the engine. meaning i took off the airbox completely.. made no diff to performance!
