you know when all of u turned your boost have you had any problems???
cus i keep being told its not going to last very long till the turbo pops or head gasket goes??
help!!!!!

mine has been running 1 bar for 18months and i have done 17 thousand miles since then too and its fine, not a single problem. it doesnt even cain up the coolent either.

there is a safety cut off valve which pops open at just over 1 bar, this is a protection device built in when the engine was made, aslong as you dont block it off and run pressures below this then it is well within the capabilities of the engine.

phew!thankyou, got a bleed valve on order anyway but ive been offered an in car adjustable one,what do u think

doesnt really matter to be honest, why would you want to adjust it anyway, the fuelling is still going to be the same so its not gonna save fuel turning the boost down, may aswell stick with the underbonnet one.

just fit an intercooler, make it run colder if your still worried.
