is it the 1.4 ls? adam-d has that with a k&n 57i and it tops out at 100mph foot to the floor!

ye 1.4 ls, i got it close 2 100 was doin bout 95 ish, 22 miles in bout 20 mins

no he has got 13`s! 17s should give it a bit higher top speed anyway!

oh rite! he is puttin 15s on! will these effect acceleration and top speed much? et49. wheels are off astra!

MY 1.2 LS 8v done 96 on way home from work. in 4th gear. put it in 5th and it slowed to 80 whas that about. was down a slight hill too.

that should happen coz 5th is for cruising 4th is for power and if u want speed!

ye same as me, but i was doin 95 in 5th mind u as soon as u go in2 5th the revs drop off an u jus go at a constant speed

they alter the mph per 1k rev.

i noticed that mine wont go as fast on 17's they are a lot heavier than 13's. if your engine is powerful enough to spins them at that speed then in theory you should go quicker, but in practice no. plus if adams car says 100 on 13's then its more than likey its actually doing 85, daniels saying 96 is probably going faster than adams is. as he has a lot bigger wheels.

Ive done 100 in my 1.2 LS with 15"s n loads of sounds, u just gotta find a hill and keep in 4th for as long as poss

yes it probably will only do 100. my old bog standard 1.4 with 2 up was doing 110 indicated flat out
