I have just got my car back from the body shop and I need advice on electrics as nothing has been done. I have no lighting as the connectors are different, the indicators are a bit iffy as one of them is flashing too fast.
Also the solenoid aint been fitted, can I do this myself or do I need to get a specialist to do it ?How much will one of these cost me ? thanks to n e 1 who can give me advice as I do not have a clue and I am going away at the weekend and will need my lighting sorted first thing thanks a lot people, regards Paul...

You should have got a relay with the kit luv. I got one with mine and wired everything as the instructions said. I had a problem with my indicators flashing too fast when I changed from the Rover ones to smaller ones behind the mesh. Problem with that was that I'd had side repeaters put on for front indicators and , because they have a smaller bulb, they weren't getting the right current throu7gh and the car thought that a bulb had gone, hense the fast flashing. I've got two proper front indicator bulbs wired up behind the bumper out of sight and it all works fine now.
Let me know how you get on chuck.

I like your car Claire! Looks way swish! I've heard a lot of people talking about it, but I'd never actually seen it.
Sorry, it's got nothing to do with this thread. Carry on, carry on.
