I know this has been asked before but i tried searching for the post but i cant find exactly what i'm looking for. I need to reset the ecu, but i have a standard vaux alarm and it goes off when i disconect the battery.
I heard something like you have to turn the ignition on then off then disconnect the battery within about 30 secs or it will go off again. Is this right?

dunno mate just loosen the battery connections turn on ignition then walk round and disconnect
