I know i should get deducted national insurance but should i be getting taxed as im 17 in part-time work, im not at college btw...

unless you earn under 4610 a year, as upto that amount is tax free.

You'll have to get a P60 at the end of this financial year and claim it back, unless they give it you in a lower wage which they sometimes do!

hhmmmmm I will work out my yearly earnings, i do do quite alot of overtime at times though so would that affect my yearly earnings? Or is it just my fixed contractual days that it would be based on?

Matt - Also heard that over 16s get taxed whatever, but wasnt sure!

I will find out at the end of the financial year then if im entitled to a fefund!!
