I drive a corsa C Sri and have been really bored today and thought f@@k it, i'll drill a few holes in the air box (and while im at it might as add a free flow panel filter and cold air feed) anyway all went well and i thought "lets take it for a drive" untill i started the engine and low fuel light buzzed me!!
Only i thing for it fill her up and optimax! filled the car and took it for a spin and i'm really happy with the results, the noise the car makes is now alot sportier and i swear theres a noticable performance increase (more better smoother throttle response then performance)
anyways just thought id let u guys no what a worth while mod this really is.
has anyone else done anything similar then had it rolling/roaded??
opinions please

i'm unsure if does make a big differance but what i was trying to say was the optimax combined with the drilled air box has made a very noticeable diffeance to the car, acceleration seems smoother and more consistant and when the throttle is floored the car seems to pull better, (maybe its all just in my mind but id say the 2 mods are worth while)

My Dad uses it on his Porsche, it reccomends it in the manual, he sometimes uses super unleaded tho.

I was under the impression that Optimax was just Shell's name for super unleaded. What's the difference between the 2 then?

Unleaded is 95
Super Unleaded is 97
optimax is 99
and you can notice the difference with them all
