I need to know the length of the bulb that fits the Corsa courtesy light on the older style lights. The bulb is the long type that fits between two metal contacts (can't think what they are called now)
Anyone help me out please?

Was thinking of making a few of these up, I've done my own lights but didn't know the size of the older style bulbs.

Do the metal contacts have a little indent that the end of the bulb sits in, or a hole that the end pokes through?

Err, the lights came as standard equipment in my corsa.
If you mean the leds, I made them, can supply for £1.25 each if interested.

The connectors have holes I think that the end of the bulb just sit in

Yup what chris says. I also recon its nearer 45mm long, not 40mm. May not make a difference though

the bulb is exactly 40mm i measured it. but as its spring loaded (well sort of) 45mm may get a better fit
