Swapping number plates?
How do you go about swapping number plates from one car to another and vice versa?
If you own both cars do you still have to pay charges or do you just ring up the DVLA and tell them you've swapped them over?
Cheers

You just get a Phillips screwdriver, and remove the two screws holding each plate.
Unless your plate is stuck on with velcro of course, in which case you just remove it.

Your V5, MOT and tax discs all need to be changed..
costs 80 squid
Thought it was £80 to take it off the car and £80 to put it back on = £160

So if I had two cars and wanted to swap, does that mean that I would have to pay £80 twice as a number plate would be put on twice as there is two cars involved with the swap!
