Financially, no, i haven't contributed to the site. I dont want a garage as i have a website. Simple for me, hard for you to understand i take it?
Heh, amusing... I didn't need the garage either - I used to do freelance web design and have plenty of web space to use if I needed it. I don't need the discounts and I didn't pay for it for the email address.
I became a premium member just to support a site. It's only £12.50! even if you have done all that stuff (and we do appriciate it) - £12.50 isn't much to support the site.
To the people saying 'Time is more important than money' yes in some ways you are true, however I'd like to know whether you've ever seen the amount hosts charge for bandwidth - I believe Tim and Ian are making a loss on this site. I feel the more people registered as premium the better - not only so they get our money, but so other's follow the trend and also become premium members!
Sorry for picking on Daimo, I know he's done a lot for the site - but just trying to get the point home that Tim + Ian are doing this site for free. Premium membership money doesn't go into their pockets - it goes towards their hosting bills.
Anyway, back on topic - Trax... I really wanted to goto Trax, but I feel if I go and don't go on the track I'll be disapointed with myself. The idea of me going out on track with my 1.2 16v is stupid though as I'll constantly be off the racing line letting scoobys and stuff get past.
I probably will go - but I need to make a list of every event I'm going to this summer so I can get time off work, I'm getting confused with what events are when.
Thanks,
Paul J
