i got suzuki GSX-R600, and to be honest, ride it like a twat, on a weekend, like a racer,
most 600cc's are limited to 165mph,
u wont get many that can do more,
it must of been a vewry highly tuned cosworth,
no offence meant to anyone, but i wudnt say these things if i hadnt got a bike meself, and gone up against cars that we're talking about,
ok mine is basically raced tuned, and lightened all round, whuich makes a hell of alot of difference but still wen it was close to standard, i cud never find a car that wud cum nearly close, other than ferraris, but was only really good at top end.
bearing in mind i dont like to take it past 150mph

he's had the bike up to 190mph on the bike stands and on the roads i think he said 180 or summin not sure so dont shout
the cosworth is standard
on the straights it did kill the cossy
0-60 theres nothin in comparison

i dont like gettin into arguments i like to only makes friends not enemies,
im just talking from experience, and honestly haveent come across a car, apart from 1 ferari, and thats wen i was goin ridiculous speeds, top end thoise kinda cars wud rape me,
my bikes capable of 180mph easy now which is very good for a 600cc, but i wudnt take it to those speeds, no way, its a pure acceleration bike now, but the mods and the lightening ive done does make a hell of alot of diffrernce, to a standard bike,
im sorry for arguing i dont like, it

yes but out of them all in all the mags, the r32 beat them all with ease, the rs is faster 0-60 but not as good as the r32 on track obviously cause it aint 4wd

The unladen weight of 1512kgs and power of 240bhp = ~159bhp per tonne. That's just 9bhp per tonne more than my 15 year old Golf GTi Mk2 hacking car. (139bhp, 925kgs).
Why VW have to make their latest cars so fat and lardy is beyond me. Just think what a 900kg R32 could do...

Yeah, but my friends got a TDi Golf, and although lardy, its a lovley car to be in. Feels very big and safe, and those dials, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm those pretty blue dials Love em.
Nahh, lovley cars though, just too damn heavy.

I agree, its a crackin car, really nice.. But just to bulky, if it were a bit leaner it would be awesome! it would be a 240bhp greyhound rather than a 240 hippo.

Y where people having such a long argument between bikes n cars? bikes PISS all over cars, yamaha R1 0-60 in 2.6 seconds, ye maybe norris designs evo cud compete with that but 0-100 the bike would cain again, even a huge cbrx1100 blackbird has a top end of 210mph, and they are massive bikes. so y even bother comparing bikes to cars, if ya wanna go really fast and have a massive rush get a bike like a gsxr thou, or if ya want a fast car n get a rush get a ferrari otherwise dont even think of racing bikes!!!

Is it me or does the R32 just look like a gti with an agressive bumper and 18's, these things are gunna be flooding the roads and end up just as boring as every other golf, mark my words.
