Do alloy wheels need special wheel nuts?
Or can i use the ones that are fixing my steelies to my car right now?
I've just heard people on other forums saying about wheels falling off and shit!

you may need longer nuts than the ones you have now. Also, depending on the age of your car, you might rather some nice new shiny ones to replace your rusty ones.
Why not get locking nuts, saves some sh*te nickin your alloys!!

Also watch out if you get ones that are too big, they may foul something important like the braking system!

ul need new nuts as most alloy nuts/bolts come with a 60 degree seating.
Ur steelie nuts may not fit.

a guy in a garage once told me that steel nuts will corrode the alloy, and could eventually weld the wheel to the bolts

Sounds like a good deal.
I haven't got them just yet but all being well they would be for 14" gsi wheels.
Would be good to get them quick so i can fit my wheels as soon as i get them.

Yep if the bolts are too long they potrude to far into the rear drum and ouch! Yes the seating or 'taper' of the nut is usually different for alloys, could possibly damage the alloy with the wrong taper and they are more likely to come loose!
