how do i get the wire out of the old speakers. do i just open the lid and follow the wire and pull?

with mine, i opened the small panels inside the boot, and put a male and female connector on them, and took the feed from there. then if for some odd reason u wanted to connect the standard speakers back up u can.
just 1 simple way of doing it

with mine i just took the back panels of, snipped the wires of the old speakers, then drilled a little hole in the panels near the top (easier/neater to wire to the parcel shelf) then put connecters on the wires

Do as mike says, snip wires and put new connectors on, its an arse tryin2 unwire them from the speakers, careful which wires u snip though, i managed to snip the boot light cable
