i can answer this cos me dad had 1 bout 2 months ago! basically its when a blocked artery stops blood from gettin to the heart and it goes into overtime trying to get it!
When less blood flows to the heart, the heart muscle may be damaged. If a blood clot forms in a narrowed artery and completely blocks the blood flow, part of the heart may die.

symptoms are tightness in chest and an aching pain in ur arms i think

causes are smoking, unhealthy diet, lack of exercise etc

chaz - thats spot on man!

and also when you go into cardiac arrest your arteries compress causing more problems because the heart can't pump blood out quick enough....

doctors give drugs to prevent the arteries beign compressed.

i've always found that interesting because the body doesn't help itself when cardiac arrest happens.
