well basically i was on holiday down in Westwood Ho! in devon and it was the 2nd day of the holiday and i needed it doing quickly to save me wastin cash on the holiday so i asked around all the local garages and one garage could do it the next day for around 200 quid. The earliest apart from that was 10 days later the place was called Nellsons (never go there) funny thing is for 270 quid you would expect a decent job doing. Driving along gear change was awful sometimes crunching and not going in anyway got to the beach came back got into the car and it wouldnt go into gear cruncing everytime i tried so popped the bonnet and had to adjust it its ok now but it pissed me off that for a price like that they couldnt do the job properly perhaps if i wasnt on holiday i would have done it myself.......
Anyway off to tenerife on friday got another holiday

just outa interest what engine was it on?
and also on a 1.4 16v does the engine have the come out to get the clutch replaced, how much do they charge for this privalege?

Westwood Ho? Was that a Tim Westwood show cos two 17 year old girls I know went down devon a couple of weeks ago and got 'bood' off stage cos they would take their underware off on stage infront of a PHAT crowd!! LOL Oh yeah and that seems pretty steep price to pay!!
