if it was buckled rims it would feel like a wheel was out of balabce, ie steering wheel shaking during normal driving.

i've got this too ICY, but it only started when i put my new alloys on, litreally as i was driving it home.

The offset is ET42 if that makes n e diff.

and i can only feel the wobblinf through the brake pedal.

Could be your callipers need re-furbing.
For the cost you might be better going to V6 or ATE callipers.

WARPED drums.... Ive warped THREE sets in three years from over heating them! It would deffinatley be that if you can only feel it through the brake pedal. Anything front end would cause the steering coloumn to shake so it HAS to be rear end problem.

I think approx £25 per drum. Unfortunatley the rear wheel bearing races are pressed into the drums. If the bearings you have are old then scrap them and buy some new for about £10/£15 and then either press the races in yourself with a hammer and block of wood or get a shop to do it. Mr Clutch near me does rear shoe changes for £35ish- thats shoes and labour. I just handed him the new ready-painted drums with the bearings pressed in and he fitted them in the job. So about £85 for a pair of drums, shoes and new bearing all fitted.
