great performance, typical jap build quality, fab handling RWD. Only problem is the rotor tips only last around 60k miles before a very expensive re-build.

Maker ~ Mazda
Year ~ 1999
Model Name ~ RX7 Type-R
Capacity ~ 13B REW (654cc X 2) Sequential Twin-Turbo
Colour ~ Innocent Blue mica
Transmission ~ 5 Speed Manual
Mileage~ 25,487

Interior

High quality HiFi system. Updated 1999 onwards interior. Bride bucket seat. Nardi Steering wheel.

Exterior

Rare and desirable 18 inch AVS Racing model 6 alloy wheels worth over £500 a piece. These are as new, with good low profile tyres with plenty of tread. Gold AVS rims are very popular on FD's in Japan, great looking ! TAKASE CRF BONNET (Light weight Fibre glass bonnet), To aid high speed stability and overall road handling, expensive (£2000)HKS MAX PRO (Ride height fully adjustable suspension) has been implemented for more accurate and pin-sharp steering. C-WEST body kit. Professional fitted to include Front nose, Type-R wing.

Engine

Standard apart from a full stainless steel HKS exhaust system. Which will help the car to breath better, resulting in improved performance. Front strut brace. Apexi FC (a superior item improving on the stock ECU with improved fuel, air, ignition). Considered by most as the best after market ECU on the market. Highly recommended for avoiding boost spike and superior performance.

Another unique, high quality example inspected by our Rotary specialists in Japan. Rare and sought after late model RX7. 1999 revised model. Updated interior. Updated dashboard instruments: boost gauge replacing oil pressure gauge not fitted to previous models. Alcantara Suede & Velour sports seats. Air Conditioning, Power steering, Power windows and mirrors, central locking, discs all round with four pot-callipers upfront with singles at the back. ABS and limited-slip differential.

Brake and clutch wear is low, she has good oil pressure and sounds healthy, revving quickly with good throttle response. Complete with the original Japanese manuals with service history !!. This car is truly immaculate, and must be seen to be appreciated.

After market modifications are of the highest quality exceeding £7,000. An exceptionally good looking RX7 with the performance and condition to match.

Late model FD RX7's are very expensive to purchase from Japan, more complex to pass the SVA test (expensive modification required) and also sought after. With 280BHP on tap, the FD is more than capable of holding its own against the Porsches, Skylines and other top marques twice the price. With the added bonus of cheaper road tax.

This is the one he likes..just getting ideas though atm!!

They're like a 5 second 0-60. I'm surprised a 2L Turbo corsa is doing a 5 sec 0-60?

this is what the bloke emailed me sayin - Stock RX7's 0-60: 4.9 seconds. Ours has a mapped ecu and exhaust for
even quick gains.

Should be good for over 300BHP..
