My mate has recently brought one of these and sold his Corsa Sport 1.4 16V for it. He brought it cos he likes them and says they're quick as fcuk and will piss all over me in my Corsa 1.4 16V Sport.
We've been having the discussion for a few weeks now and last night we put it to test. We both had a passenger in the car.
He pulled away with me behind him and I stuck with him to 60mph okay. Got to about 80mph and his started to pull a little faster. He did have the advantage from then on though.
I was pleased that I could stick with him to 60mph fine though, after he has been saying how much faster his car is
Just thought I'd share that with you He wasn't too pleased though

zetec-s is a joke, Ford should of produced another Fiesta RS

Please...we have heard this argument loads...the zetec-s will be quicker to 60 but as with most cars when u compare a 1.4 and a 1.6 there isnt a massive difference in 0-60 times...maybe a second...which isnt a lot when u think about it...0-100 MPH will give a better indication of how much faster it is that your corsa.

They are a match for a sport 1.6 (I have owned both) not the GSI though...

They are slow as fuck for a 1.6 my 1.4 16v Corsa keeps up with em easy and thats completly standard they are just w a n k

Um well it isn't far off mate all i was tryin to point out was that for wot is meant to b fords performance fiesta it ain't no where near as quick as a Corsa 1.6 or a VTS i shouldn't be able to keep up with it and ford are having a laugh and so is any one else if they think they're quick

it is as quick as the 1.6 sport I had one for 2 years or so!...not the GSI though...the VTS is a different league though...on par with 106 GTI.
