Depends on who it is and how far. But a few quid each person in car to cover fuel costs.

unless it is all the time and you ave no petrol...And u are not going there.
So to take them you would have to go right out of your way..

Usually I dont charge coz only time a give people lifts is when I am going to the same place e.g. in to town or cinema.
I got £30 once off a mate to go pick him and his g/f up from Manchester (bout 20-30 miles each way) at 3am!

if iv got petrol an im bored then nothn, but on the odd occasion iv been low on petrol an ppl av askd 4 a lift they giv me a few quid

i gave my mate a lift home which was very inconvient for me 15 miles away even stopped for petrol myself and he didnt even offer a penny plus he threw up in my car.....havent talked to him much after that!!!

my fiancee pays £1 per 10miles (we go halves) if we are goin a long way ie. shoppin in bristol etc.

She came up with that as thats approx what it costs me.

ive took money off people twice
once when driving around aimlessly
and once when i picked people up on new years eve

even drove to donny etc, and didnt charge passengers any money
