it all depends wot u are plannin to do. when i raced it was at local track so i only needed a yearly licence from them which was about £12. to race at other tracks like skegness, kings lynn, swaffam, ollerton u had to have a trackstar license as the tracks and events were run by them. if i remember correctly to race bangers u have to be 16 but they had novice races for under 16's of which u didnt have a licence.

as for motorsport my dad had one but he isnt around to ask

he used to race the lombard rally years ago in a rs2000 with lotus engine
