anyone know whats good for curing earache, really bad earache, foned the doctors but can only fit in emergency patients today, but what else can help it, its really annoying.

yes nurofen, i had it 2 weeks ago (earache) and it went after 3 days but its back now, so bad had to take day off work, but unless its an emergency doctors wont see me cos there only 1 doctor in.

warm towel leave it on your ear for about five mins see if that works

well to be honist, if its come back, and you have had it for a two week period, i would recommend that you go to the doctors so they can check it out.
Theres nothing like being in lots of pain and doing nothing about it,
You might find you need some antibiotics that they can only dish out.
I would give them a ring and pop along

yer i have rang them, thats the first thing i did but its only emergency patients they can fit in, its keeps easing when i lean them against summat so i dont think its an emergency just painfull and annoying.

sounds to me you have an ear infection,
and doctor practises when they say they are only taking emergency people, it means people like you who have problems that have just acured recently go along and they can have a look
They set one doctor aside to deal with people like yourself, and the other doctors in the practise see people who have apointments for maybe on going problems
I really do think you should ring them up, and get an emergency apointment,
it will only get worse and you will end up in more pain.
You need a full weeks dose of antibiotics, as soon as the first lot has kicked in, you should notice the pain slowly releave.

no they only have 1 doctor in, thats all, have to book it for next week its easing off a bit now anyways, thanks anyways
