Right...... Im sure this question has been asked before...

Im fed up of looking at the double DIN head unit, I have a Pioneer 7400MP3 from my old car to go into it, but just havent been able to find a facia panel that matches the colour of the centre console....

I know autoleads do a black and a silver one, but they are not the right match. I have a Corsa C which is about 4weeks old, and the centre console is a much lighter silver than the facia autoleads supply., its like silver/bluey in colour.

Are you still with me?? Hope so.

Anyways can I buy a facia to match, if not can I get the paint to match if so where from and how much is it going to cost me, also where should I get the facia from to paint.

If I cant get paint to match, can I get one thats a near enough good match so you can hardly tell they are different.

Please help

Really want to get my head-unit put in, as the G/F bought it for me when I had my last car, and is already moaning because I havent put it in my Corsa yet.

hi m8. a number of people have had this problem on here. someone mentioned that a vw silver was the best match, but i cant remember if it was for the newer models or not.

I dont think theres much else you can do but buy the black one and try get a bodyshop to match the silver - or just get the whole console sprayed including the adapter lol

I think I would rather just get the facia sprayed than the whole console

VW Silver...... mmmm, does anyone know if this is for the newer model Corsa C's??

Then again, I guess I will have to spray the whole console if I cant find a near enough match

..... dont really wanna do that

Vauxhall smoke grey metallic is a 95% match. Halfords £5.99 a can.

vauxhall have just started sell in one that is exactly the right colour for corsa c i dont know how much they are i just saw it on a parts bulitins the other month at work.

CorSRi_BT - thats the older colour mate...... Im after the silver/bluey colour, think paulr202000 might be able to help me out. I hope so anyways

dannycorsa c - I rang vauxhall and they said contact my local dealer which I did and he said they only come in two colours.... Black and the old grey/silver colour.

paulr202000 - if thats right then cool, Would you be able to do me a favour and find out how I can get hold off one, cost is not a problem...... but when ever I ring vauxhall they just say contact your dealer, and then all the dealers I ring just say we only have balck and grey/silver.

If you would find out for me that would be well smart.

paulr202000 - just rang vauxhall again..... aparently the only colours I can have are:

Black
Matt Chrome
Matt Charcoal

But its the Silver-Effect finish I need
Are you sure they have the newish silver colour available...... please help soon,

Ask Dave (Red_SXi) He has sprayed his interior parts and it looks mint he has the newer colour here's a pic

Good news mate.... I dont think Im gonna need to spray it, I just rang the vauxhall dealer I bought the car from, and he confimed that there is now a silver facia.

Costs: £28.20 inc VAT
Part number: 93160504

I have to go in today and order one, then hopefully it will be here by saturday so I can get it fitted

www.vauxhall.com click acessories (choose new corsa) and look under car audio accessories, they have both of the silver facsia's.

Im at the vauxhall site now, I clicked on buy acessories, but I cant see New Corsa I can only see Corsa..... then when I go into Corsa I dont have an option for Car Audio Accessories....

Doesn't matter if you havent as Ive order one from the part number above, just curious to see it on the website.

Thats what I thought

Went into Audio andnavigation and the only 3 I can see are:

Single DIN facia kit - black finish
Single DIN facia kit - matt chrome-effect
Single DIN facia kit - metallic charcoal-effect

No silver one.....

OH I always thought Chrome was light a darkish/goldish silver..... not a light silver colour?? OH well I will soon see when I get it on Friday morning
