.. a site like autotrader ,which sells modified cars for people .as i have seen people asking whether there are places like this on the net .just wondered whether it would be worth while,
as it would get the right target audience .
what do you think ?
could have a parts section too????

Autotrader would just catch on and create a modified section and your site would be fu*ked

if advertised on all modifying boards,it is convienient ,would be cheaper i think?
would not be limited to little space for a spec
you could put the url in your car window ,for interested people to look at ?

aint got it anymore, it was on my old server which crashed and i lost all the files. if you could get a team together who were pretty committed it would work well.
Promotion would be a doddle,because the modified car community is closely linked over the internet, and it would be hard to get the word around about it. Its just getting it coded and looking good.

didn't get that far, i posted it up on ere for eveyones opinion and nobody bothered with it really. Didnt have much time to complete it cos of uni.

I'll be up for getting involved in that although is there a marketplace for modified cars? Everyone I know who tries to sell one does very badly!

maybe not just for cars, i.e. parts(C20XE,wheels,brakes), body kits/parts etc

i've noticed a niche in the market also. I'd go for it mate, could be a good little earner. and definetly helpful to alot of people

i think it would get a lot of interest mate, well worth givin it ago. dont let the idea get out too much tho. dont want sum1 else clockin onto ur idea, and makin one b4 u.

I think its a good idea tbh, but weather people would want to pay to advertise on a website thats not that well know, im not quite sure.
However, there may be a market for it, i'd suggest going to a lot of websites and asking a lot of peoples opinions and gather some research before you attempt anything. Would need a lot of advertising too.

cheers peeps ,ive been busy tonight but im going to post on all the sites like this one tomorrow .if you know of any then please list them .obviously i would have to get the site goin ,therefore would not charge gr8 amounts to begin with ,but AT charge £15 for 2 weeks on there site .
plz let me know of any sites like this one for other makes and models
