when i burn cds my comp turns itself off before cd is finished......any ideas why or what i can do bout it

use nero , tis one of the best out there shouldnt have no issues with that.

You mean the PC shuts its self down? or just the software?

if its the PC its prob the blaster virus thats been going around...mine had it and was shutting down all the time...

nero has an option on the 'write' dialog box to "automatically shut down after burning" - your software may have this too hidden away or something?

but usually this feature shuts down after the burn process. or maybe some programs went the mile further and shut down halfway thru the burn process lol
