this is another random question posted by moi again but just wanted your opinions and i saw the other day on the net a picture of a seriously modded ford cougar (or mercury as i think they are called over there) and it looked mint!
now it just so happens that my folks are selling theirs and it is a 2.5 v6, full leather interior etc etc and has only done about 10k and i was just wondering what you guys thought to maxing a ford cougar
...kinda got my attention coz i have never seen a modded cougar before and the one i saw on the net the other day was spot on
...anyway let me know your views

Prefer a Cally Turbo or V6 anytime....
....there is a reason that the cougars depreicated so fast etc.......problems it had, just like hte probe, scorpio, etc

It would be different....I've seen people twin turbo the ford 2.5V6 engines and they fly! I think it would be different and look quite cool! Don't give a f*ck what people think coz some may take the p*ss just do it if YOU like it! I'm sure a lot of people will respect you for it - Maybe even start off a new trend

personally i like the look of cougars!
I think it'd be a good idea but jus do wat u wonna do at the end of the day, not wat we on here tell u, its personal choice at end of the day theres always gonna be someone who loves and someone who hates the idea!

i love the look of em, but are very prone to gearbox, drive shaft and electrical faults.
I had a 2.5 V6 Ghia cougar for a week a year or so back. pretty nippy to say the least, and a comfortable drive, but on that one (couple of years old), 5th gear had gone, Engine overheated all the time and brake light bulbs on the right cluster went every day!! Oh and drank fuel like anything!!
although i've only ever been the passenger in one, the cally turbo (later models) seemed so much more refined and alot faster.
Matt
But yes it is ur choice, but u wudnt have posted up here unless u wanted to here other peoples views on it.
