Is it possible for your head unit to run the 6 original speakers and an amp to run 2 6x9s and a sub?

Would this sound good or would there be a time delay?

I dont the stock HU would have preouts for an amp...

But i could be wrong.

yeah would be but no point having the back speakers running the same time as the 6x9s just sounds shite

a time delay? christ ud swear ur speakers were in different time zones!
u want ur sound stage to appear as if its in front of u, when u got 5 speakers in the back thats probably not gonna happen.
if i were u id spend the money on 6x9's on a decent set of comps upfront, and disconnect ur rear speakers...still get the amp and sub obviosuly too.
if ur keepin the stock h/u ull need to get an amp with high power connectors.
