Once you open the petrol flap, there is a cover inside, what is everyone's like? Should they screw on? Cos the one on my car just pushes into the hole. A mechanic said it would fail an MOT, as it isn't a proper one...

well they do check them, It prob wud fail cause they need to totally get rid of any air, they are air tight as fuel systems are pressure filled

well I dunno but that aint an official one, prob best nipping down the scrapy before your MO and getting a cheap one off a breakers

i can send u a locking one, with 2 keys, brand new for £15. These are about £30 from vauxhall cos i had the same problem.

The standard ones are locking ones.

The one you currently have on is just a Universal filler cap, sell them at petrol stations and stuff.

Why would they lock? As the flap locks with central locking. Is it the same key as the one for the rest of the car? Cheers.

my corsa B has a locking cap, my mums corsa C just has a screw in cap
