I can't be bothered to search - the results take ages to sift throguh to find what I want. Just asking very generally to be honest.
Are the torque tubes that long thing above the engine below the windscreen? I know what they do but not what they look like or where in the engine they go!

the torq tube is the silver pipe back of the engine with some text on it.
laptop it propably for mapping the chip or the engine management.

Thanks Juha. Wondered what that thing was!
Is that what a Mantzel Powerbox looks like too? Where does that go?

mantzel looks bit different. it made from cast alloy and can be polished and laquered,if one wants, althoug has to be made by yourself or some garage.
the main idea with both inlet manifolds is that theyre not that asthmatic, than the original, so engine can get air better. but what comes up*power in revs* is lost a bit from down.

Broster, look to invest in a 4-2-1 exhaus manifold for your car. They work quite well. Janspeed do a mild steel at £170 and LExmaul do one in stanless for £315. I'd say get teh Janspeed to be honest, with lexmaul u pay a lot for the name.
That along with a decat and ur current exhaust n other mods should see a pretty good gain on the rollers (get it setup again though). Think ur be looking at a goodf 120bhp odd

If the engine was running well before and reacts well to the mods, u'd be looking at about the same as about. 115-125bhp.

Id reccomend a Janspeed sports CAT rather then a decat pipe.
Saves you a load of hassle at MOT time.

I'd go for a sports cat too rather than a de-cat.

thyre not very cheap... but after serious mods its taking just so many horsies out, the standard cat. in otherwords if you can afford serious mods, you can afford sports cat...and tried with decat kicks upper revs but looses bit from down.
as some one said, sports cat might be best...

Cheers!
Sit down cos otherwise you'll fall over laughing!
Got a Mercades Smart!
Bout as quick as a 1.2/1.4.
6speed sequential box and dump valve will be going on next week (600cc 3cylinder turbo)!
Looks daft but really fun to drive!
Had it drifting earlier on, can only get past the traction control in the wet!

Aint getting any brabus parts at the moment, dump valve is meant to be here friday.
Planning to get 17" rears and 16" fronts, lower the rear 25mm, chip it from 61bhp to 76bhp (ecu controls gear changes so DTA would be very hard to fit!), tint the windows, custom peco twin exit oval and then probably a huge sub box to fill what little room i have behind the seats. LOL
Wanted something faster but mr insurance man asked me to bend over!

I got a janspeed mild steel on mine (bout £70, you can get a stainless one too), no problems at all.
Demon Tweeks said they cant get the cheaper Magnex one (which i would of prefered as ive got a magnex backbox).
Spoke to someone who had the Magnex one though and they had had a few problems getting it to fit and it used to blow, think he bought it from demon tweeks and thats why they dont sell the magnex de-cat any more.
Think there's another de-cat pipe you can get for about £50 but dont know where from though soz.
