before primer, a low grit, like 300-400, between coats 1200

my suggestion is that try mirrors first... theyre lot smaller and when you learn, bumber will look even better than mirrors! cos its quite big area if you havent done it before...
just telling cos when i did it first time i just started from bigger to smaller...
...and mirrors did look lot better!!

dont think u need it, u get a high uality finish from t-cutting it and polishing it . There might b benefits of using laquer so al ask him when hes online and get back to u ...

Adam - DO NOT USE LAQUER. Glacier white is a solid, and usin laquer will just make all ur hard work go to pot, turning it cloudy and crap.
Plastic Primer
White Primer
Glacier White Paint (preferably vaux stuff - best finish i've found)
Then Carefully T-cut it down to a shiny pro finish.
Just remember the final product will reflect the time and effort u put in. When u think u've sanded enough.........TRUST ME U HAVENT. U want it so smooth that it almost turns into a shiney reflective surface!!

even tho the bottom half is already smooth and painted, sand down to get rid of scratches etc. Fill any cracks or defects properly.
Oh and have i said yet, SANDING, SANDING, MORE SANDING - and take ur time
honestly

To be totally honest with u, and no disrespect to u, but u will end up respraying it more than once coz of insufficient sanding.
Not being rude tho, coz i did it. And when i say i did it, i messed up big time. Thought everything was lovely perfect, got my bonnet sprayed, and it was a waste of £80 it cost to get me bonnet sprayed.
u've bin warned mate, the process u'll b sayin in ur sleep afterwards
filler, sand paper, filler, sandpaper, 1200 grit..droool....... lol
