decided to run the 3 mile trip home from work this morning, about 5 minutes from home 2 elder runners came running towards me.
They acknowledged me with a nod & a 'morning'
Funny thing is they were in their shorts, vests/ t shirts & there was me in jeans, a polo shirt & me bag over me shoulder
Just made me chuckle how they could actually mistake me for someone out on a morning jog

Well I can't just drive straight home, don't really like starting the engine just to do 3 miles, so I go for a little drive if I ever do take it to work to fully warm it up etc.
Ran 3 miles or so in 20 mins this morning, not too bad considering I haven't exercised for over 2 years
Ache like buggery now though & I gotta walk to town later

If I only worked 3 miles from home I'd ride my bike to work. But ur right about those small trips, wont do your car any good.
