Partition your HDD, stick XP Pro for day to day use and Longhorn on a spare partition.
I'd imagine it's still flakey as fuck right now so wouldn't trust it with anything too important.
Where'd you download that from then? It's still in alpha as far as I know?

Yeah its the .4029 build.......
the first version that i got was .3102 build, It is quiet stable and will run most of my programs that are important, I.E. Nero, AvP2 Gamespy 
But had no OpenGL suppost for playing Quake or Medal Of Honor (Seems like ure ok wid Direct 3D games)

fuck the rest, Windows 2000 will do everything you want, dont be a loser 
All my machines (clients anyway) are Windows 2000 can does everything perfect ( i play alot of games too like GTA3:VC,Battlefield 1942,quake3 etc)

I would recommend Win2K... The most stable OS IMO.
Does everything you need and it does it well, MS got it right with 2k!

The main difference about longhorn is the user interface for Windows desktop is going to be DirectX based, so windows and dekstop screens will be in true 3 dimensional form

The file system is still NSFT but is modifyed cause the way windows uses it
Anyway installed longhorn, looked alot nicer than the previous build i had, but it is only 14 day preview unlike the other version of longhorn i had was 180 day trial, oh well back to XP pro

it is called iNFTS file system, but u can use standard NFTS if u want
