for those who are constantly looking at ways of making heat shields, this stuff may come in handy :-

Heat Shield glass fibre cloth with aluminium facing on one side. 400g weight. Used for protecting components against radiated heat eg. brake pipes near exhaust.

There is nothing special about this type of heat shield, wherever it is sold. It is used in many industrial applications. Motorsport is just another use. The only difference is in the price. You can pay up to £80 per square metre. Our price is £15 per square metre.

Minimum order from us: 2 square metres.
Priced per square metre.

might be very good stuff, but it needs something to support it like some mesh around it, otherwise its in the surface of the filter...

make a good one and it will work!

and the SO important hose, othervise it wont do any good...
