from last time got pulled 103 in mway back in may
date was last monday
lawyer sed i didnt need to go.
last letter was 2 charges
-one for speedin or
-one for dangerous driving
got letter yesterday with 2 new dates and said "when ur case was called.....the procurator fiscal was not perpared to accept the alternative charge of speeding......"
ok day i got stopped the stretch of mway was a big long straight bout mile long then goes slightly to the right. unmarked cop car came on mway on slip road on the long straight. Road wasnt busy bout 2-3 cars i was doin steady at 100 even when copcar was followin me for bit before they pulled me over when mway was goin towards the right after i overtook a car then pulled into hard shoulder.
"From out initial meeting we do not think you have any defence witnesses but if this is not the case pls let us have their names and addresses as soon as possible "
ok this bit.....my bro was in his car drivin a bit behind me in similiar speeds.
copcar pulled out in front of him without signallin so bro kept on its tail n flashed etc like WTF kinda thing.
if i tell lawyer bout my bro as a witness would he get done for speedin at that speed?
i think no coz he didnt get stopped, i did so how can they do him then
but i dunno he cud help tho coz i cant get done for dangerous driving
wasnt like i had foot down n my speed wasnt climbin was constantly 95-100 and not alot of traffic that day

You will incriminate your brother by stating he was travelling at the same speed...although the police probably wouldnt persue it...really you have nothing to gain from advising him he was there as the police car pulling out on him will be his word against the police car drivers.

just say brother was behind the cop car that was dangerously drivingin by not signalling, they have nowt to prove he was driving at such high speeds? Ask your lawyer.

they have to prove you were driving dangerously. driving at speed does not mean dangerously.

very true.did they film you doing these speeds?if so ask for the tape to be played in court this will prove you wasn't dangerous driving.also although your brother was behind the cops they cannot prosecute him because they have no way of proving that he was speeding

Police must have been going faster t han you t o catch up with you???
I always enjoy watching those Police chases on tv, you hear them commentating saying how they are 'chasing' a car at xxx mph, which is of course faster than the offender is travelling as they are playing catch up.
Hence why they 'tail' you so t hey can clock you at a constant speed.
I was followed for 2 miles on the M6 @ 90mph by a Volvo patrol car & didn't notice They let me off with a producer

They have no proof to charge your brother! Thing is, what I've always found id that "family" ain't seen as independant witnesses especially if they appear out of nowhere 5 months later when your due to be charged!
Also you have no proof the copper did not indicate so IMHO it will be hard for you to get let off!
