The standard connectors to sensors like the air mass meter, coolent temp
sensor and throttle position pot are crap! Tinned copper, with heat and
vibration get build up of oxide and increased contact resistance, just try
taking one of these conenctors apart after 3 years or so and cleaning with
cotton-bud/isopropanol, comes off covered in black muck, no wonder the ECU
ain't getting the right voltage from the sensors! Anyone know if you can
get gold-plated replacement connectors for the corsa sensors? Or do I need
to resort to direct soldering? Or replace the sodding loom (again)?
